Various Codes of Practice relating to the construction of boilers and the operation of minature trains have been compiled by the Australian Association of Live Steamers and the Australian Model Boiler Safety Committee.  These documents include:

• AMBSC boiler code for duplex steel boilers (Part 4)

• AALS 5" gauge fine scale track/wheel standards

• AALS 5" gauge track/wheel standards

• AALS 7.25" gauge track/wheel standards

 

Societies affiliated with AALS subscribe to the Codes of Practice and operate under the Australian Miniature Boiler Safety Committee (AMBSC) Boiler Codes.
