If you want to host a birthday party on our grounds on the last Sunday of the month, public community day, just turn up and enjoy yourselves. Donations are much appreciated. Please think about what you may pay elsewhere and donate accordingly.
Please ensure on your party invitations that you inform all persons to wear enclosed shoes. No sandals, thongs or bare feet – joggers are best.
We do not allow jumping castles, face painters and such like on our public community day as we are more than enough entertainment for your party.
We no longer offer private parties to family groups, we do however provide limited private days to community groups.
Turn up any time after 9am, set up your party area on any supplied tables and chairs or bring your own sun shade, stake out your area. The trains do not run untill the times given on the home page.
You can bring your own BBQ.
You may have food delivered
You can not arrange any special train or line for your party.
You can not use the area set aside for club members as we also need an area for our family while we are working for you.
If you could take your rubbish Home it would help us as the Council do not.
The club does its best to run always and the decision to run or not to run is made as late as possible on the day.
Fully enclosed footwear must be worn to ride our trains.
(Please note that 'loan' shoes are not available.)
During a Total Fire Ban, we do not operate steam locomotives. However, non-steam locos still run per usual.
